Road Closure Postponed until August 3rd

Road Closure Postponed until August 3rd

Dear Parents and Carers,

You may have seen this sign or received a letter from Wessex Water informing you of the road closure of The Street from Monday 13th to Friday 24th April.  As this will affect access to the school for a 2 week period, Wessex Water have now postponed the work until the summer holidays.  The work is now planned to take place from Monday 3rd to Friday 14th August.

Please be aware that Flintham Hill will be closed between 9 - 13th March between the hours of 8am - 6pm.  This may affect your usual journey to/from school.

World Book Day

World Book Day

It's been great fun!  Thank you to everyone for making such an effort with costumes.  From Paddington to Bilbo Baggins and the BFG, we've had a wonderful cast of characters!  Today we've enjoyed sharing favourite stories with our buddies, having a story from a teacher from a different class and a World Book Day assembly.  One of the key takeaways from today is that you can travel to all sorts of wonderful places with a book.  Check out Galleries for more...

Lightbulb Moments...

Ruby have been exploring electricity and making circuits.  Lots of lightbulb moments!

Crystal Growers

Sapphire chose to grow crystals for their class treat and these glittering gems were the result!  They cracked eggs, washed the shells and then coated the inside with glue and Epsom salts.  Next they made a solution of salt, water and food colouring before putting them in a warm place.  A very exciting moment when the egg boxes were opened!
